Tobor first appeared in the 1954 film, "Tobor the Great", where Tobor is created to replace manned spaceships due to the inhumane treatment placed on "human" space pilots. Soon Tobor is stolen by enemy agents whose diabolical plan is to take over the United States
Tobor was again seen in the 1956 pilot, "Here Comes Tobor".
